ST. LOUIS, MO – EPIC Systems, Inc. recently sponsored a Trivia Night which raised $6,200.00 to benefit the USO. The second annual EPIC Trivia Night event was held January 11th at the Holiday Inn South Lindbergh in St. Louis, MO with over 160 people in attendance.
Several speakers were featured at the Trivia Night. USO volunteers, Pat and Jim Bubash spoke on behalf of the USO. Captain John R. Langan, USN Ret. also spoke about how the USO made a difference during his thirty years of serve in the Navy.
EPIC Trivia Night was hosted by Frank McCormack and Craig Geil and involved a silent auction, tribute to the troops, and multiple raffles. Prizes included two golf baskets, a signed Ozzie Smith baseball, a Scentsy basket, two date night baskets, two Barrels of Booze and Cardinals tickets.
The Holliday Inn on South Lindbergh donated the space for Trivia Night. Prizes and silent auction items were generously donated by: The First Tee, Fazoli’s, Polar Opposites, Jewel Box Florist, Jeff Portmann, Mindy Held, John Schott, Haberberger Mechanical, the Pasta House, and EPIC employees.
Mike ‘Ramey’ Beerman’s table took first place and Jim Long’s table took second. The winning tables received prize baskets worth a total of $200. The last place table received a bag of Dum Dum Suckers.
