ST. LOUIS, MO (9-1-2013) – EPIC Systems, Inc. has announced the hiring of Sandy S. Nichols as Lead Mechanical Designer. Nichols is a graduate of South Western Ill College with an Associate Degree in Applied Science in Drafting Technology. He has continued his education in Mechanical Engineering at St. Louis Community College.
Nichols brings nearly 20 years of manufacturing design experience to EPIC. He has worked in various designer and leadership roles for multiple companies, including: Monsanto Enviro-Chem, Benham Engineering (SAIC) and The Material Works. He was most recently employed with Modular by Design as Project Manager/ Lead Designer.
In Nichols role at EPIC, he is responsible for the Complete Design of Process Piping Modules and general project support. His core focus is on applying the best design practices by continually improving efficiency, quality & organization with the modular process systems that we design and build.
