Most Challenging Modular Process Piping Design Project:
New Formula Concept for Antiperspirant Emulsion Process Module
This project was a four tank skid system combined with temperature control units, pumps and Hastelloy tubing. The location where the skid needed to go in the plant was a small room, and the path to get there was tight. Since the system had strict size requirements, the piping and equipment layout had to be precise to allow for easy access to valves, piping and equipment. “To overcome these challenges, I first created a detailed site plan to ensure a proper path for the skid. Then I meticulously laid out the piping and equipment ensuring access to the important areas of the system,” said Stawarski. Thinking outside the box and focusing on creating a clean, well-organized skid allowed this project to be completed successfully.
Stawarski enjoys knowing that his designs play a major role in the project being successful. “With every job, I do my best so that the customer is happy for many years to come,” said Stawarski.
In his free time, Stawarski spends time with his wife and children. He also plays ice hockey and snow mobiles. “Watching Chicago Blackhawks’ games is one of my favorite ways to relax,” said Stawarski.
