Last month EPIC’s EH&S Manager, Paul Kirksey, sent out a preliminary video to kick off Globally Harmonized System (GHS) training. EPIC will have all employees trained on the new GHS by the end of 2013.
GHS training focuses on the classification and labeling of chemicals. This system was developed by the United Nations to create a standard way of labeling chemicals among different countries. View the video below for more information on the new GHS.
