On January 10, 2014, EPIC Systems, Inc. sponsored its third annual Trivia Night competition which raised $10,285.00 to benefit the USO of Missouri.
Frank McCormack and Craig Geil, our esteemed event hosts, were also the masterminds behind the trivia questions. Trivia night also included a silent auction featuring The Autograph Guys, a tribute to the troops and multiple raffles. Each person who participated in trivia night or volunteered received two drink tickets as well as an assortment of snacks for each table.
USO volunteer, Lisa Nelson spoke on behalf of the USO, and Captain John R. Langan, USN Ret. also spoke about how the USO made a difference during his 30 years of service in the Navy.
The table that took first place was USO volunteer, Gloria Ebert’s table. They received Smarties, 1st place trophies for each individual and their admission back- $160.00 per table. On the other hand, the table that had the least amount of points received a giant bag of Air-Heads.
Several EPIC employees were involved in making this event a huge success. EPIC Trivia Night is one of the events in which the REC Committee plans, organizes and implements. We had a great turn out this year; it was almost sold-out!
Thank you to all those who attended the event as well as those who very generously donated checks and silent auction items.
